Each June, APSRC holds a three day professional learning retreat offering a variety of sessions designed to help educators build skills and explore new strategies. The 2025 Summer Professional Learning Retreat marked new highs for registration and attendance, welcoming more than 400 virtual attendees and generating 2,740 session registrations across 26 offerings. We hope to reach even more participants in 2026.

We are currently outlining details for the 2026 Summer Professional Learning Retreat and encourage you to save the date. This free retreat will take place from June 9 through June 11, 2026. In 2025, we launched a new inclusive format that allowed attendees to register for any sessions of their choice, even if they were unable to attend live. Session recordings and materials were shared with all registrants, with viewing eligible for professional development credit. This model will be offered again for the 2026 retreat.

APSRC members will be able to access retreat materials at any time through their Discere account as part of the members only on demand resources, including content from both the 2024 and 2025 retreats.
